IML: Stainless interior trim repair tip

While restoring the door panels on my 58 LeBaron I ran into the age old
problem of rusted off retainer tabs on the stainless strips. Repair:
find someone with a body stud welder,(I happen to have my own) and weld
standard duty studs to the metal backing strip, be careful with the heat
so you don't burn the stainless on the front. They bend and retain the
chrome strip just like the sheet metal tabs that came from the factory.
Polish up the front and problem solved.
