I have to say it's worse if you look at the imports. Especially with
all these small imports that not only generally look alike but ape the
style of higher priced vehicles... it's just a blur.
However, I have no problem differentiating recent vintage Pontiacs from
Oldsmobiles, Saturns, etc... What I *do* think is missing though is a
certain class or style to a majority of the designs. I really miss the
"formal look". It seems to be almost entirely absent from modern makes
and it's baffling to me. I would think it would be at least as popular
as some of these monotonous designs that look freshly squeezed from a
toothpaste tube.
Really, that's what made me notice this '93 Imperial I purchased
recently. It's sort of like the last word on the formal american style.
