Ed,
Welcome to the club. Lots of owners of 68's -
I think. Great car though I only have on from the 50's. When I hit
the lottery I think a 68 would be in order, a 64, 60 say 3 from every
decade.....Whatever you need just ask the club - just don'task me!

McDonald. It seems to be an unusual color combination - very nice.
This is my first "antique". I have always LOVED old cars and have window
shopped for years and years. I used to spend hours as a kid detailing
any car I could get my hands on. This 68 seems to be a "twenty footer"
but has some road rash and rust (some in front fenders but mostly inner rear
quarter panels). Most things work. I drove it up yesterday from
Panama City, got 8 miles per gallon averaging 75, and loved every minute of
it. The drivetrain appears strong and shifts smoothly. I am pretty sad
today because it is raining its A** off out there and I can't take it out to
play. Don't know what I will address first in the repair area....I may
just enjoy it as it is till the spring. Hopefully the winter will not be
so bad that I can't take it out a few times.
