Hi Bruce,,,

  This is Tony Fortner.....I also have a 71 that had that problem....mine 
was the booster..BUT I have heard of such things as there being axle greese 
on the rear shoes from a leaking seal. That would cause the sticking 
effect...So I am told.   I will be in touch about your 69
