I have to email you on this one.  I work in an infectious disease clinic.  Bleach and water will kill various types of bacteria.  You can also try a Lysol product that you can buy over the counter that is used in clinics and hospitals, it is industrial Lysol and comes in a small brown bottle at the store with a yellow label.  It kills Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, and various other bacteria and fungi.   I used the Lysol to make sure that I not only killed the bacteria, but any fungus/spores that may have been growing there.  Even though I live in a desert area, there are types of fungus that will grow in those kind of conditions.  Also, the Lysol won't damage anything in the car like bleach may.  Anyway, I guess it all depends on how concerned you are about what may be living in there.  Seeing what I see every day, I would rather err on the side of caution.

Taking advise for what to use in the 56. The car has set for many years with a family of rodents. As you know they had to have some where to go to the bath room. I did put on a mask to vaccum everything out of the car. The interior has been removed along with the carpet. What product should I put or spray in the car to kill the bacteria and what ever else may be floating around in there. All suggestions welcomed.
