The fuel pump on big block Mopars is driven by a short push rod. Over the
years, this rod becomes worn and eventually results in poor performance of the
mechanical fuel pump. I checked the 1964 Manual and couldn't find a spec for
the rod so I'm reduced to identifying a possible problem while lacking the
ability to define it.
