Bad deals, words of support

As I've mentioned before on the list I bought my '65 on
eBay, in 1999. I wasn't yet very experienced at eBay, and
even if one is experienced, it isn't the same as being there
in person. I asked a whole list of questions of the seller,
and he had posted over a dozen pics on the auction. I took
my older son with me to make the drive of 750 miles each way
with '76 W200 and trailer, so we had a nice adventure. The
car had problems that the seller hadn't mentioned, and I
hadn't thought of to ask specifically. So, I had some
disappointment, but I've since gradually improved the car
while driving it to work and cruising around pretty
regularly, and the disappointment has definately faded.
