Yes Hugh: The wonderful folks at Imperial Division thought it would be a hoot to make distinct hubcaps for each trim level. The base had a tin center spinner stamped as part of the hubcap, the Crown had a plain cap with a pot metal spinner bolted to the center and the LeBaron has a cap with a series of square stampings around the outer edge and the Crown spinner. 1000 LeBarons produced, 4 caps per car and a few replacement ones, hens teeth, maybe. Isn't this what keeps the hobby interesting? May I assume the hubcaps of the LeBaron, the Crown and the base model are all different in 1958? If so, isn't it amazing that there would be three different types of hub cap for such a low volume car?
