An advertisement is no guarantee that what is illustrated is what is offered, either as standard or optional equipment. Just as brochures are not on the top of the list for accuracy, neither are advertisements. Many illustrations for brochures and advertisements are done before production actually begins. Thus "errors" appear. Sometimes you have to question what was going on in the mind of the illustrator. The 1970 Chrysler brochure has line drawings of each series showing the various highlights of that model. The 300 series has a line drawing pointing out the new steering column lock. The U.S. version shows a Chrysler 300. The Canadian edition shows a Jensen Interceptor. I don't think it looks good either, but it had to be available or they would not have ran an Ad showing it, or perhaps it was something that the company had the dealer do to handle a special request. Anyway, has anyone seen a 68 Imperial painted like this, other than what was mentioned by Mark McDonald? Bill/Imp, 68's
