Whitewall Width

I have a set of those that I bought many years ago. They are still very soft
and flexible. I think that I did get them from J.C. Whitney. They mount between
the tire and the rim and will work with tubless tires. The first set I bought
(in 1970), I installed on my '56 Imperial. They looked great for about six
months, and then they began to rip apart. I expect it may have been because
back then I used to drive the car 80 + on the freeway. I bought a replacement
set and never used them because some one started reproducing economical wide
walls soon after that and I bought the real thing.

I just checked my most recent J.C. Whitney catalog and they are not there.
