Welcome Joachim. I don't need to tell you how nice cars the 68s are. I did not know that this conversion is possible. As you know, in these cars the engine is offset to the right to give space to the steering gearbox (more or less all Chrysler products of the period were like that). Did you have to reverse this offset to give space for the steering box on the right? Also, can you use the same steering box? I am sure people here in the list have parts cars that can supply you witht he part you need. I hope your brakes are good, because cars that sit too long have budd brake problems, usually.
