Chrome fin "rings" on '59 Imps

There is a 59 Custom on the "lot" (where we bought our 59 Crown) and the tail fin rings have the Chrysler crest on them. You can see it at www.hhusedcartruck.com - go to collector vehicles, then Chrysler. The 59 Custom is # E-17, the second one listed (ours is # E-41). It's not a great picture of the Custom, but maybe you can see the rings. The lot says it's a 57 or 58, but we ran the VIN here on the site and it came up a 59: M617100421. This "lot" (and I use the term loosely) has several Imperials. BTW, we didn't pay the $1000 that it was listed for. They deal.

PS to Kurt...we're looking for the turn signals on the front of the car, got any spares? If you look at the pictures, you can see that somebody put icky turn indicators on our fenders. (Ok, yes, I wrote this - Laurie).

Subject: IML: Chrome fin "rings" on '59 Imps

I just purchased another '59 Imperial parts car that had a spare set of '59 Imperial fin rings laying in the trunk.  They are definitely '59, but they have the gold Chrysler chrest medallion where every other set of '59 rings that I have seen have the gold crowns.  I own a '59 Crown, LeBaron, and Custom and they all have the rings with the gold crowns.  Any ideas as to what this pair might have been used on?
