"Sterling Silver", code A1 is the color on this car. Sterling silver was used in both 1981 and 1982. In addition, there was also a "Silver", code A2 in 1982.
I don't know what the difference was in appearance.
1983 has an A9 code, which was a Charcoal gray, a darker shade, as you say. This must be what is on your car, although I cannot explain why your data plate says AA9 - there is no such code in the book that I can see.
I see your car is an 83, that explains the difference. The options and color codes were different for different years. Dick Benjamin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rob P" To: Sent: Wednesday, January 14, 2004 7:10 AM Subject: RE: IML: 81 EFI coupe on eBay gray or silver?
