Dick The car was converted to (EFI) by the factory at a Chrysler dealer in the Lake Elsinor, CA area. I have driven the car in the last year and it drives and runs well, it has about 80,000 miles on it. The car sets a lot in his garage with the battery connection undone. Is there a transport option available? It's a long drive to Idaho from California, as the car sets a lot I would be hesitant to drive it to Idaho, it would be a three day drive, 700 to 800 miles a day. My last drive in the car, the break pedal was sponge. I found the fluid level was up in the master cylinder. Do you have any thoughts on this?? I do thank you for your response. The wife wants to go. If your 82 still has the EFI setup, you are in for a treat if everything is still OK, and a nightmare if it isn't. But your jukebox restoration skills will help if necessary, and our club has some folks who know these cars pretty well. I'd say we've been able to get about 95% of member's cars back to normal operation, with some patience and help from various members, myself included. So go get it, and give us a report. These are beautiful cars, even without the EFI, but an extra delight if it is original.
