Brian,
I own a '66 Crown 4 dr., and I paid $7350 for it in 1999. I had many people
tell me that I paid to much for it, but according to the "Old Car Price
Guide" I was in the ball park for the condition. The car is all original
with the interior looking like brand new. The exterior has some faults, but
not that bad considering the age of the car. I put about 10,000 miles on it
since purchase, and I've spend about $1,600 in repairs including the AC
redone.
If you found one for the asking price of $3,500 that sounds like a great
deal to me.
