One of the bosses where I worked at the time had one of those
with swivel seats. I don't think any other makes have offered them
since.

Well, if we all got in and out of our cars the way we're
"supposed to," swivel seats would make more sense. According to doctors, the
way most of us get in a car is bad on the back. The "correct" way is to face
away from the seat, sit down as if sitting on a chair, then turn and pull your
feet in-- just like you would with a swivel chair. But it takes too much time,
I guess.
I'm not a doctor, I just play one on the IML.
