Joel, I have the same problem with my '66 Crown. The passenger's side wing window has air noise coming in the car all the time. A friend of my who owns a body shop told me that the shaft on the top of the wing window is bend causing the window not to shut tight. I think if I try to bend the shaft back it will break off. I'm not sure at this time what's the best solution for the problem. (The passenger's side never did but the driver's side did until I removed the motor to clean and replace the gear.) My question is, is the motor not strong enough to close it completely, or are there adjustments with the gears inside the motor that can be made? I've adjusted the screw on the glass every possible way. The window is not getting hung up on the weatherstripping either. Hopefully someone has some helpful info they can offer. Thanks.
