I can't answer your question completely, but I have a 68 Crown 4 Dr Ht with the towing package - the only difference that is obvious is that the rear springs are stronger. This makes the car ride somewhat more firmly than one would expect for a luxury car - and I also have another one without this package, so I am fairly sure this spring difference is the reason. I do not see any difference in the radiator or fan, two areas which would have to be beefed up on lesser cars, but Imperials are so overdesigned in those areas that perhaps enhancement was not necessary. Adding a hitch to these cars is tricky, as there is no separate frame to bolt to. The hitch had been removed from my car before I bought it, so I do not know whether or not a factory hitch was provided, nor how it might have been mounted - I see no evidence of welding back there, so I assume it was a bolt-on installation. Looking for information and advice. What made up the "towing package" from Chrysler for this vehicle? Can anyone provide experience with setting up this vehicle with aftermarket hitch, trailer brakes, trans cooler, etc.? Thanks, James
