Anthony: If your car is original/qualifies, your '56 Imp will make a nice addition to the Survivor area, but I don't think you HAVE to enter that category. There was a '57 in it last year, the two might make a nice pair. I think the survivor cars are in one of the indoor buildings, which may be nice in case of rain. However, we also have an Imperial class I set up w/the Carlisle folks last year. It was a big hit. There will also be an IML club tent, where you'll be welcome to join us. Here are some other hints: 1.) At this point, anywhere you can find a room, I'd go for it. Mechanicsburg is about a half hour away from Carlisle, rooms are getting pretty hard to come by. Check with some of the other closer motels for cancellations as the date gets nearer. 2.) Bring a lawn chair. 3.) Definitely register before 6/20 when the advance deadline closes, otherwise you have to register at the gate, which will be a lot of trouble with everyone else trying to get in. 4.) If you're there then - try to do your parts hunting on Friday before Saturday's crowds arrive. Looking forward to seeing your '56. --------- Original Message --------- DATE: Wed, 04 Jun 2003 23:02:31 From: anthony@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To: mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Cc: >Hi Everyone; > >I have just registered my Imperial for the Carlisle car show July 11.
