Temp sending unit for '68



Mark,
Unless your neighbors are Mr. and Mrs. Claus, 150 degrees is not normal 
operating temperature. A 68 should have a 180 degree thermostat so if the 
coolant isn't close to 180 degrees at the top of the radiator, it hasn't opened 
completely. Leave the radiator cap off to prevent any pressure buildup and 
drive around the block a couple of times, then stick your thermometer in the 
tom of the radiator again, if the temperature reads in the 180 degree range, 
check your gauge and if the needle is at the left edge of the box, you are fine.
