Wow that is pricey! I will have to research if yours has the same brand system, but my 92 cost about 150 labor and parts for the accumulator. -----Original Message----- From: mailing-list-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mailing-list-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Allan.Williams@xxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, May 12, 2003 10:19 AM To: mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: IML: 1990 Imperial ABS - update. Hi to all I took my '90 Imp to the dealer for VA Insp and ABS recall. My car previously failed VA inspection because of the brakes. So I dropped my car at my local Chrysler dealer. Well, I just got off the phone with the service manager and he said: The recall work for my car had been serviced by the previous owner. And...that my ABS problem was a bad accumulator. The estimate to fix ¤350 for the part and about 4 hours labor at ¤75/hr. He then said that it would not stop the car from passing VA inspection. I told them to do the inspection and I will look into the accumulat problem later. He said that my car was only at 1200psi when it should be at 4500psi. Should this be part of the recall? thanks Allan
