Clive: Go to www.Hemmings.com and click on parts. Type in keyword sending unit. There you will find a number of suppliers. There is one that will rebuild your sending unit. For my 1960 Le Baron I am having a new one built by J.F. Sullivan Co. for about $100. The guy I talked to didn't even have to look it up because he did a couple 60 Imperial sending units already that month. Must be getting popular - must be those gigantic fins! I used to just set my trip odometer at 0 and when I got to 100 miles refilled with gas - that worked too. As an aside to Tracy. Glad your 60 Le Baron sedan arrived safe. You said your interior had been redone but not original. I am having my interior redone this spring. Found the NOS light blue - gray wool mohair which was the original equipment color. It is not cheap though. It is $100 a yard and it is going to take 7 yards. I am also having new headliner, carpet, and old style seat belts put in at the same time. Good Luck downunder. Paul Lenz
