Give us something new and ugly to look at and complain about!.. ========================= Wow is right. You mean to say that the ORIGINAL plates could still be on the car?!? New York changes plate design every so often, (15 years or so?). And when you sell the car, YOU keep the plates to transfer to your new car. Otherwise, you get to keep them in the garage on a nail. I do believe though, correct me if I am wrong, that (in NY state) you can buy 'historical' plates that will match the ones that were in effect at the time your car was built. I have heard stories before that in some states, the plates stay with the car, and they leave them on, even in the used car lots (!). I would think it would make cars too easy to steal. Don't they also call license plates 'tags' in some states? Imperial content? Does anyone know when was the first year that Chrysler had factory cassette players? What year were they first offered in an Imperial?
