Peugeot in France also stole from the Chrysler Airflow. I guess they aggrandized their French superiority as they did not credit Chrysler either. The Swedish Volvo stole from the Chrysler Airflow, too, for its PV36 model . I guess, etc., etc., etc. The British Singer firm stole from the Chrysler Airflow for its 11hp Airstream model. I guess, etc., etc., etc. The AIrflow was viewed around the world as a major breakthrough in engineering and styling. It was THE car to emulate in the 1930's. It should also be pointed out that the sales of the 'copies' were no better than the original. Fact is, NO manufacturer has ever given another company credit for anything they have 'stolen'. To do so would be to admit they are not as advanced as their competitors.
