John; Don't junk your old dash just yet! The material that they used to grain those old dashes is still available, it's called Dyenoc (sp). They used a version of it on the sides of 60's and 70's station wagons. Apparently the new type is much more durable and resistant to fading then the kind originally used. It will do a check for wood graining and find some more information for you. This may also be useful to some Imperial owners as well.
