Cross Ram induction was available in the early Sixties on certain
engines. It is a set of long intake pipes sitting across from each
other, four to a side, with carburetors on top of each.
The pipes are long and cross over the entire top of the engine, hence the
name: Cross Ram Induction.
I saw an article once, where someone had ordered, from the factory I
think, an early Sixties Plymouth station wagon, with a Hemi, and the
Cross-Ram Induction. A real "Grocery-Getter"!!!
I will have to see if I can find it somewhere.
