Black is the most demanding of the body work. A black car shows every problem in the body. The darker the color and the better the gloss, the more defects you can see in the sheetmetal. Black is the most elegant color if the body is truly perfect, otherwise, lighter colors are better. That is why you see so many cars offered for sale with flat, light gray "hot rod" primer on them - the body always looks great that way!
