DaimlerChrysler has noticed that the PT Cruiser is underpowered. Their answer is the up-and-coming GT Cruiser which will be powered by the same LHS V6 that powers the Prowler and the 300M. As far as reviving the Imperial as a big luxury RWD sedan that would be wonderful, but not likely. As one of the members mentioned earlier, the Germans have no interest in putting out an ultra-luxurious Chrysler that would do nothing more than compete with their own Mercedes line. Here's another idea, why not resurrect the Imperial as a ultra-luxury full-size SUV. As far as I know neither Chrysler nor Mercedes are competing in that arena. Our beloved Imperial can come back disguised as a truck and powered of course by the new Magnum Hemi engine from the Ram line. Wouldn't it be nice? Can you imagine the next Imperial meet this summer??? Imagine 35 plus Imperials taking up two rows at Chryslers at Carlisle and arriving fashionably late are THREE FULL SIZE IMPERIAL SUV's in Black< Tan< and the Ever popular Haze Green with HEMI's and MOM< DAD< 2.35 kids<, <DOG, >Cat and just about anything else you want to carry along including the kitchen sink. Imagine the arena area with the pathetic smoky burnouts who waste tires in a minute or two getting (burned) by a SUV IMPERIAL!!!!! just smoking away all FOUR TIRES AT ONCE intill just rims are left>>>>>> Then imagine a drug-crazed croug shouting to the IMPERIAL SECTION ( WE WANT MORE, MORE, MORE) And befor you know it , there are ten imperials dueling in a makeshift Demolition Derby gone mad, Sparks flying, people screaming, but WAIT, these cars WILL NOT STOP THE MAYHEM, (WHY), because they simply will not self-destruct... EVER!!!!! Wait, I just fell off the barstool, and the bartender is telling me to go home and sleep it off before he kicks my a.. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
