imperial colors....



I hope this isn't erroneous information regarding the location of the data
plate as our '65 Crown convt. has been "parted out" for some time now.  Help
me on this other '65 owners!  Isn't the plate located on the drivers door
jamb where the door is hinged.  I looked at the data plate from our '65 and
the color code is at the bottom on the right side.  Ours is GG1 which
translates to Sequoia Green.  Does the "1" indicate the top color?  Not
sure.  If you will find your plate and state the letters/numbers from the
lower right corner, I have an exterior paint chart for '65 with all the
codes.  I'll be happy to look up the code and let you know.
