If you bought this car from a licensed dealer in California and it was in
the condition you describe (definitely unsafe), you need to have it towed
back to the dealer and have them make it right for you. This is outrageous.
I don't know where you live, but in California, you'd have a heluva lawsuit
against them if you had an accident.
