You can just loop a short length of hose from the one of two fittings behind
the fan to the other one - just make it long enough to reach both fittings
without getting tangled up in the belts, pulleys or fan, and you can run the
car that way indefinitely. It doesn't care if it circulates water through
the heater system. When you feel you want to fix it, just replace or have
the heater core re-cored, and you'll be able to hook it all up again. New
hoses are always a good idea if they are more than 5 years old or so.
