Maybe a mis-aligned hinge that you can try to figgle around with to correct your door's sag? -I'd bet on that. The 1960's and others are fully adjustable, and the door may have been banged or the bolts loosened and incorrectly tightened later on. The good news is that 1957 and 1967 share sililar engineering in their doors' mounting design. It may not be exact, but should get you far enough in to figure out what you need to look at. Once the interior door panel is removed, the bolts are remarkably easy to deal with - I just removed my doors and it was a snap - 6 bolts on the door and 6 on the body. The ones that you want to look at most likely are in the door. The better news is that this portion of the Master Technicians Service Conference is already available on our club website!!! http://www.imperialclub.com/Repair/Lit/Master/110/index.htm There are 12 of these per year from the late 1940's to at least 1973. The 1972 and 73 years are already completed, and the webmonsters are working on filling in the other years. Blue items on the list are already done and viewable. We are looking for the others, so let us know if they cross your path. http://www.imperialclub.com/Repair/Lit/Master/index.htm These booklets were part of a monthly training program for dealership mechanics, and were meant to be additional help BEYOND the Feild Service Manuals, so are a great source of info straight from the horse's mouth. Enjoy! -Kenyon __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now. http://mailplus.yahoo.com
