By the way last I heard Chrysler owns the company that makes GM power steering pumps Gm also uses spicer and dana 4x4 systems which are owned by Chrysler. I think theres enough parts out thetre to rebuild so you never have to use GM parts unless you want to get by cheap and who wants to cheapen their Imperial. I will not cheapen any Mopar I own this way and I will keep them on the road Don 59 Crown 65 Crown ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Boekhout" <charger69@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, December 17, 2002 5:49 PM Subject: Re: IML:why gm anything? this isn't a gm list! was gm alternator > > > > > "As much as it may sicken you sir, there will come a time when > > you will have to buy a GM alternator, GM p/s pump, GM a/c compressor, and > GM > > water pump to keep your Imperial on the road." > > > > Doug > > 58 Crown coupe > > > > > > > Hmmmm, I think I'd set mine on fire first ! > > Chris > 72 Lebaron > 71 Lebaron > etc, etc. not a GM waterpump or alternator in sight....and never will be..... > >
