True, also, I've seen cars with 2 blinker cans, one for each side. On a premium automobile like an Imperial, it's very possible. I'd turn on the blinker thats working, then follow the sound to where the blinker relay is, and see if there is 2 of them. It should be a small aluminum canister looking thing, a bit small than a pill bottle and it should be right in the same area as the one that is working.
