I found another Imperial in the Boise, Idaho area. The car is in
Fruitland, Idaho.
The advertisement reads: 1964 Chrysler Imperial 2-Door, Crown Coupe,
great condition, $1600 / OFFER
(208) 452-5209. evenings.
I spoke with the fellow on the phone. He just sold another '64
Crown Coupe a couple of weeks ago. I guess his father was into Imperials
a long time ago. It sounds as though this car is too good to part out but
may need some work to put it right. The owner thinks it would be a good
candidate for refurbishing / restoration. I would be glad to help anyone
find out more about this car.
I found out the following information: (These are his
descriptions)
1) The car ran when parked about 3 years ago,
2) Everything electrical worked when it was parked including the air
conditioning.
3) The car is blue green with matching cloth interior, Top is white
vinyl.
4) The interior is good with no rips but needs cleaning.
5) The dashboard pad is cracked
6) The body is straight with no dents or rust holes
7) The Chrome is good
8) It has the original wheel covers
9) The vinyl top is deteriorating
10) The original owners manuals etc. are in the glove compartment.
11) The windshield has no damage
