Rust Repair

I've found that POR works great, and most of the time
at that (I've meet mannnny people who use it and stand
by it).

However it didn't always go so well with me. I
followed the directions by the letter, and would get
mixed results. Sometimes, it would work perfectly- or
better the perfectly. Other times, it would look like
it were working correctly, only to flake off and cause
rust on the bare metal to occur.

One test subject I used was an old snow blower. I did
the whole thing in one day (as to ensure that weather
conditions didn't effect the POR). Some parts of the
metal I did worked, others didn't. 'course that might
be because POR only works well on metal which is
already rusted extensively. Areas that were just
starting to show signs, or metal which was not quite
about to rust, did not take the POR well.
