"Battery shut off"? Sure, call it that if you like. Its a device that connects between the battery post and the battery cable. Mine has a green knob on it and about a half turn counterclockwise will completely disconnect the battery from the car (electrically speaking). You're right! I always turn it off when I plan to be not driving my car for more than a couple of days. It guards against fire, it ensures nothing in the car drains the battery, and its not such a bad little anit-theft device, at least it would take someone another minute or two to figure out why there is no power to the car if trying to steal it. I don't know about NAPA. I get them from another supplier here in town. I can see if I could score a deal if enough people were interensted in them. I'll see if I can get a picture of it online for folks to look at. ----- Original Message ----- From: "bob siliani" <bsiliani@xxxxxxxxx> To: <mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, August 22, 2002 12:18 AM Subject: IML: Another Imperial In Flames > Ok, I have the extinguisher ( > most shows require it) but what do you recommend as a power shutoff > switch?
