1960 tail light gaskets

Mine do have the gaskets also, but have a small amount of the caulking applied to the metal, then the gasket & the tail light. Same thing on both of my 60's

My 1960 has preformed gaskets that appear to be mfg. for
the purpose.  You might want to double check on that one...
