Congratulations on using Mobil 1. It's an old wives tail that you can't use
it in old cars.
I even use 0 - 30 weight in my cars with over 100,000 miles, new cars, as
well.. While working in Saudi Arabia I shipped it over by the case for my
454 ci. Suburban, old VW & VW dune buggy. Mobil was one of our parent
companies but the local distributor, with Pakistani Business Manager (?)
said SA was a third world country (it was far from it).
I have a photograph of the king in his 1938 Imperial limo equipped with sand
tires. Some time before that the British government gave the king a gift of
a new Rolls Royce . The king said the steering wheel was on the wrong side,
where the king sits. He never rode nor sat in the Rolls!
Excellent lube oil for cursing @ 195 km/hr, ~121 mph in 125 F ambient
temperatures.
Go down the road,
Dave
