Subject: Servo assembly

I believe it was Kenyon who suggested that as a temporary solution to my leaking servo I take the 2 water hoses coming from the motor and splice them together. Is the heater the only thing which will be affected and will it not harm anything?Sorry for my ignorance but I dont really understand how a servo works.

I would appreciate it greatly if someone out there could let me know if splicing these 2 hoses is a viable option and will not cause any damage. As far as whitewall tires go, I have had Firestones on my Genie for at least 5 years and they are still bright white.I use a soft brush and soapy water to keep them clean.
