Greetings all: My ’73 Imperial LeBaron has commenced to dumping power steering fluid in a major way: I looked at it quickly and thought it was seals in the steering box. The current project car (’90 Dodge Caravan overhaul) is preoccupying me such that I decided to hire it out to keep Her on the road this summer. My mechanic tells me that the leak is NOT the box, but coming from some manner of mystery hydraulic valve located on top of the power steering box, for which we have no documentation. Is there anyone with a ’73 shop manual who could mail or fax us info on what this valve is and identify a currently available replacement? Much appreciation.
