Chrome for 66 convertible

Hi,
I am new to the list and new to Imperial ownership.  My car is a 1966
convertible that I bought from a friend who got tired of paying other people
to restore it.  He knows nothing about the car-neither do I.  I am going to
buy a shop manual, and hopefully that will answer some of my questions.  But
until then....

My question is this-I am looking for a variety of chrome trim (as well as
many other miscellaneous parts) for the car. Since they are rare I am
wondering what if any chrome parts (exterior primarily) are interchangeable
with other '66 Imperials? Will chrome from 64 or 65 fit a 66?  The specific
parts at the moment are the trim that fits between the bumpers and the body.
Also, the folks who took off the chrome (before I bought it) discarded some,
as well as most of the chrome to body gaskets.  Are these gaskets available
anywhere?  Is it possible to make them?
