Valve burnt

  Hi Ivica,(and List),
Please let us know what year your Imperial is.
  This is just a guess,but...I am thinking you have a '81-3 Imperial...and
the valve you are referring to is at the end of a long pipe which a large
hose goes to??? If so,the pipe is called the Aspirator Tube which has a
diapragm-type valve and a large hose at the end. I believe this valve will
unscrew from the pipe via a nut under the valve. If not,the whole tube will
have to be replaced.

A restriction in the exhaust system might cause hot exhaust gasses to pass
up the pipe,to the valve thus melting the rubber diapragm.

   Keep us posted.

'79 440 powered 35 ft RV <--roof-job coming along slowly,but nicely.
