we put a 360 in a 81 imp several years ago with efi,,.we used 318
heads,,lots of lo end torque top end ok but not great..millage went to
about 18mpg,,it could turn the rear tires though,,speaking of starting
,,the ASD is bad about shutting down and not coming back ,,what we did
is cross the 2 big supply wires (blue,green) and drove it for the next
13 years and it is still running good with over 200,000 miles and
still going,,.at the time we did the 360 we also put a 727 in also,,im
not a 904 fan,,efi still works good but the idle motor quit so i
disconnected it and set it at 700 rpm hot..to start cold ,,just touch
the gas a little..once started it will idle ,lo at first ,it gets better
as it warms up,,,,..rick
