I used Able Auto Transport, broker out of Iowa. I was quite pleased with the service... my 81 was picked up when they said it would be, delivered to my door within a week. I had contact with them once in the interim and they knew where it was and when it would get here. No damage on delivery. Open carrier price for about 1,000 miles was $500.

Anyone know of a good reasonably priced car hauler? Need to get a car from near Denver, CO to near Portland, OR.
I hired a guy in March who guaranteed to pick up the car in April and the last week in April his driver blew through Denver, no advance notice, and didn't get the car. Name of Kiwi Auto Transport, Lindsay King, stay away from that one.
Now I'm looking at storage charges and a mad seller.
