The cluster from the Cordoba/Mirada will fit in the Imperial dash as long as you have all of the trim pieces to go with the cluster. Even though the cluster from a New Yorker/St.Regis is different, it too will fit and the cluster trim piece is the same. I tried the New Yorker cluster yesterday and it fit just fine including the "just" cluster trim. The two conections also fit. I don't know if the printed circuit "sheet" on the back of the clusters are the same as I have not hooked the two sets up. I have had the Cordoba set installed at several points in this conversion and it does work. The only real change, and this is a major one, is the Imperial dash uses a voltage idiot light whereas the Cordoba/Mirada and others use an AMP gauge. Unless you know where the shunt goes for the AMP gauge it will burn out as soon as it is hooked up. I installed a voltage gauge from AutoMeter with only minor modification to the cluster housing. As for the differences between the Imperial dash and the Cordoba/Mirada dash they are really the same once you remove the digital gauges and information center. I cut the power amp switch out of a damaged digital cluster and installed it inplace ofthe non-power mirror knob just to the lower right side of the cluster I am going to use. It doesn't quite have a "facory" look but it now works the antenea. I plan on installing the dash tomorrow, wish me luck! Dave U. 81 IMP > > Yes, only the Imperial had electronic read-out gauges.
