I have a 1967 Imperial LeBaron with a 440. I would appreciate it if
someone could tell me what the cross symbol on the identification pad
means. I have only seen this once before on a 440 engine that came out of
a Dodge police car.
Thank you
Vincent
You may have already gotten an answer to this
question. If not, here goes.
A maltese cross indicates a.001 U/S crankshaft.
A maltese cross followed by a + X is for a .010 U/S crankshaft.
I suppose U/S stands for undersized but I could be very wrong on this.
