Hi all! Thanks for the many warm welcomes I've received so far. As the weather here in Phoenix already pushes towards 100* it's become pretty important for me to get the A/C working on my 1972 LeBaron. The car is 99% complete, but the few parts that are missing, I have no idea what to look for, and I don't have a service or shop manual for assistance. Under the hood, attached to the passenger's side wheel well is a heater valve. The valve looks exactly like this: http://www.checkerauto.com/product_images/AAP/FAA/74643.jpg There's also a bundle of wires and small rubber hoses (vacuum lines?) that have been neatly taped together an capped off with a plastic bag. The wires and hoses run along the wheel well and into the firewall. My best guess is that these wires and hoses connect to some kind of controller that's supposed to be attached to the heater flow valve? But since it was missing when I bought the car I have no idea what to look for. Any assistance as to what the missing part is called or where I can get one? Partsamerica.com lists something called a A/C Heater Control Switch: http://www.checkerauto.com/product_images/AAP/GPS/HS29.jpg Is THIS the part I need? Does this somehow connect to the heater valve? It appears to have connectors for wires and vacuum hoses. Please help before I swelter away while trying to enjoy my new Imperial! :^) Thanks in advance, DD
