These keys are original for the 81-83 Imperials. The clear pentastar in the
center of the key is not crystal, it is plastic and does get scratched up
and worn from use. My black 81 still has the original set of keys, and with
130,000 miles it is beginning to look a little shabby, but at least they are
original.
These keys were used on no other car, I believe.

I just returned from my Opthmologist after Laser Eye Sergery and he gave me
two Gold (Brass?) plated key blanks that are the same keyway as mu '83. They
have a crystal? Pentagram inset in the end of the key. Does anyone know what
model these were for, if the crystals are real crystal and if Imperial what
year were they intended for? No, they are not for sale!
