Back in July, my wife and I attended the Walter P. Chrysler Club National Meet in Parsippany, N.J. and exhibited Wadsworth, our two-tone green '56 Imperial sedan. Even after getting stuck in a horrendous traffic jam (3 hours to drive 60 miles!), we had a great time at the meet and saw some spectacular Imperials as well as other MoPars, including the one-off '55 Imperial convertible built for K.T. Keller. We left the show at about 3 p.m.,before the start of the awards banquet and didn't hear anything about awards. Imagine my surprise, when a package arrived last week containing, of all things, a second place plaque for Wadsworth! While Wadsworth has been beautifully repainted in his original colors, he is otherwise unrestored, and driven on a regular basis. Not too shabby!!
